Sometime in June, I started daydreaming about Christmas. I thought about the few photos I took of my kids the year prior in our guest room at Christmas with a lone garland on the headboard. This year, I had a vision to go all out in that space. By early November, the guestroom had transformed into my own little winter wonderland. My vision had come to life and I realized I wanted to host pajama mini-sessions in the space.

With the space ready to go, it was time to test it out! My goal was to start slow having never done a mini-shoot in-house like this, and market the session to my amazing neighborhood. In order to market, I needed some test subjects, and what a better trio than my own sweet kiddos and dog.

From there, it was time to spread the word, and I could not have been more shocked when all available timeslots were booked in the first 2.5 hours after posting! When the mid-November shooting date finally arrived, my husband took the kids and dog to Grandma & Grandpa’s for the day and I turned on the Christmas music, busted out all the fun props, and I had such an incredible time meeting and capturing so many adorable families back-to-back-to-back! So happy to share moments from all of those sessions below!

A huge thank you to each and every family that came out to have their photos taken. I had such a great time interacting with all of your beautiful kids and seeing the holiday excitement gleaming in their eyes. I am so excited to make these pajama mini-sessions part of my yearly tradition!
Wishing everyone a very safe, healthy, and happy holiday!
