Capturing events through photography and videography has always been something that I have had love for. I can attribute that to my dad, who’s passion for capturing all of our life moments growing up introduced me to the camera and video camera in the first place. It wasn’t until I attended design school and started my first job that I was able to appreciate the true art of photography and learn to take the time to capture an image that I was proud of. I still have a long way to go in the photography world, but love to use family events and gatherings to practice enhancing my technique.
This past weekend my step-sister Theresa was surprised with a bridal shower that was styled and planned with such craft and beauty by her mother and bridesmaids. The bridal shower had a vintage theme, with beautiful spring floral touches. Delicate lace, light coral and ivory flowers, and homemade chalkboard signage created an exquisitely delicate brunch atmosphere. The overall feel and look of the event was perfectly matched to the bride-to-be’s style and I was so honored to attend such a wonderful bridal shower. I can’t take any credit for the amazing decor, delicious food, or creative crafty touches that Theresa’s bridesmaids and mother put together – but I did want to share some of the photos I took that showcase their beautiful work. My photo gallery starts with a picture of the stunning bride-to-be. Wishing Theresa and Graham a life of happiness and love.
Makes you hungry doesn’t it? Also, how can I get a permanent mimosa bar installed in my house…
